NEW APPOINTMENTS AT THE ENGINEERING GROUPE INC.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—MARCH 22, 2005

John S. (Skip) Groupe, IV, President of The Engineering Groupe, Inc. of Woodbridge , announces that John Matusik, PE, has been promoted to the position of Regional Manager of our Piedmont Offices.  John will continue to work out of the firm's Loudoun Branch Office in Leesburg where he has been Branch Manager since that office opened in 2000. John Matusik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Water Resources from George Washington University .  He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia, and an Adjunct Professor of Urban Systems Engineering at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia .  John's 15 years of water resources expertise is complimented with 15 years of site development experience.

 Transferring from The Engineering Groupe's Alexandria office, where he acted as Branch Manager, Mr. Samer Beidas, PE, CCM, will now serve as the Branch Manager of the firm's Loudoun Office.  Samer has more than 18 years experience managing and directing procurement of engineering and construction services and projects in the public and private sector, with the last nine years at the executive level in local municipal and county governments.  Samer has recently been appointed by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors to the Loudoun County Fiscal Impact Committee.
