THE ENGINEERING GROUPE, INC. OPENS OFFICE IN RICHMOND

RICHMOND, VA—January 1 , 2008

John (Skip) Groupe, IV, PE, President of The Engineering Groupe, Inc. of Woodbridge, has recently announced the opening of a new engineering and surveying services office in Richmond, VA. This expansion, made necessary by the acquisition of new business in the Richmond corridor, will facilitate servicing of public and commercial clients in this area.

The new facility, located at 6501 Mechanicsville Turnpike is already staffed with professional and support personnel in 1000 square feet of office and supporting space. Executive Vice President, Bruce Reese, LS, PE, will be overseeing the daily operations of this office. He feels “the office is ideally situated to serve The Engineering Groupe, Inc.’s activities in the Richmond community and provides a convenient location for business.”

The Company was founded in 1990 by John S. Groupe, IV, PE, and provides civil engineering, planning, and surveying services to state, county and municipal agencies, as well as to homebuilders, commercial developers, and public utility companies.
