JOCELYN LAMPERT RECENTLY AWARDED FABA COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON OF THE YEAR

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—February 7 , 2007

Jocelyn Lampert was recently honored at the FABA annual Presidents Ball with the 2007 Outstanding Committee Chairman Award.  Jocelyn is in her second year of serving as the Chairman of the Legislative Committee for the Fredericksburg Area Builder's Association and has been with the Committee since 1998.  The Legislative Committee is responsible for monitoring proposed legislation and government affairs for the six localities in the Fredericksburg region (City of Fredericksburg, Stafford County, Spotsylvania County, King George County, Orange County and Caroline County).

Jocelyn was recognized by FABA two years ago as the first time recipient of the "Government Affairs Action Award" for her exceptional contribution to the FABA Legislative Committee in 2004.  She is also a member of the State Legislative Committee as well as a member of the State Regulatory Committee for the parent association, Home Builders of Virginia (HBAV).

Jocelyn is employed by The Engineering Groupe, Inc. as the Corporate Services Administrator where she is responsible for Quality Control Review, maintaining CADD standards and overseeing internal education and training programs.  The Engineering Groupe, Inc. is a full service civil engineering firm ranked among the top 25 Engineering Firms in the Metropolitan area by the Washington Business Journal.  The company is headquartered in Woodbridge, VA, with offices in Alexandria, Fredericksburg, Leesburg and Charlottesville.  The Company was founded in 1990 by John S. Groupe, IV, PE, and provides civil engineering, planning and surveying services to state, county and municipal agencies, as well as homebuilders, commercial developers and public utility companies.
