ENGINEERING GROUPE, INC. ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS

WOODBRIDGE, VA—JUNE 12, 2006

John S. (Skip) Groupe, IV, President of The Engineering Groupe, Inc.(EGG) is pleased to announce the following restructuring and personnel changes at the company’s Central and South offices.  These changes are a result of the successes these offices have experienced and will optimize the experience, education and individual professional registrations gained and achieved, over the past two years. 

Denar Antelo, P.E., has been promoted to Director of Engineering for the Central (Woodbridge) office.  Denar has been instrumental in overseeing and contributing to many of the firms land development projects in Prince William County since joining EGG in 1998.  Denar earned his Civil Engineering degree from George Mason University.  In addition to his duties as Director of Engineering, Denar will also work closely with the Central office Survey Department to insure a smooth and coordinated work effort to produce a quality design product within the client’s committed schedule. 

Denar is joined by a team of experienced professionals including Project Managers, Stanley Orndorff, Mike Webb, P.E. and Lyndell Goldson with Project Engineers/Senior Project Managers, Chris Ferrara and Omar Ching, EIT.  This strong team is rounded out by Brent Bowman, Drew Eland, Johnny Groupe and Duane Reger.

Billy Flynn, L.S. has been promoted to Director of Engineering for the South (Fredericksburg) office, where his technical strengths, management skills and recently acquired Land Surveyors registration will be a valuable asset to the rapidly growing office. Billy will be transferring from the Central office where he has worked since the company’s inception 16 years ago. Bruce Reese, P.E., L.S., Executive Vice President, and Bill Adair, Director of Engineering will work closely with Billy to continue project quality and productivity.  

Tammy Flynn will also be reassigned from the Central office to the South office, where she will join the House Grading Plan Department.  Tammy’s expertise in varied and complex residential housing product types, as well as her familiarity with our major clients, local ordinances and construction standards, will be a welcome addition to a busy office.
